The shadows in Plato’s Cave story made people question what’s actually real. In Carl Jung’s psychology, the Shadow is the part of ourselves we usually hide — our fears, impulses, and desires — and a lot of mythological characters come from these hidden parts. We wanted to play with shadows in a small, closed basement as a way to question the self-contained systems of perception, and to touch the “hidden truths” that exist within human fantasies.
